Studio photo course

The photo club at Boss Media arranged a short course in Studio photography together with the photographer Daniel Johansson. It was held in Febuary 2008 split over 4 times. First time was a general, get-to-know-the-studio-and-equipment session. We took photos of ourselves and experimented with the help of Daniel.

The second session was like the first session except this time we experimented with more flashes and tried some group photos.

Third session we had the honor of working with Mikaela and Amanda. It was quite weird at first to direct someone in a photo, and it was really hard at first to think of ways for them to position themselves. But it was a great experience and I hope to do it again soon.

Unfortunatly I missed the forth session since I went to Cannes. It was basically the same layout as the third session with two models, this time they tried to do some outdoor shooting. Wish I'd been there...

About the teacher

The teacher is Daniel Johansson. He's worked as a photographer for 4 years and has experiences in fashion, wedding, portrait and advertising. We got a mail a few days back where Daniel asked if we were interested in a second course. This time a shorter course with focus on outdoor photography on location. Sounds fun ...
